Welcome to all new Members for season 2008/2009. With the season now started it is great to to see so many new faces as well as all of our old members returning for yet another season of lifesaving. We encourage all members to step up and join in activities within the club , there are always jobs to be done. Volunteers are vital to the running of the club to keep our beaches safe and encourage others to be aware of water safety.
There are some exciting things happening for the club with new extensions to the clubrooms almost through the planning stages. Friday Night Youth Group for Under 13-15 members. Surf Boat crews weekly training as well as Tuesday and Thursday fitness training from 6pm onwards at the club. If you need some motivation turn up and join in with the group. The clubrooms will be open from 5pm - 7pm on these nights for all members if they wish to use club equipment. All children must be supervised.
A big thankyou to new sponsors B.D.S Panels and C & N Electrical Contractors.

The Mornington LSC is located on Mills Beach, 1 km north of the jetty. Schnapper Point jetty at Mornington was built in the 1850s and enjoyed a busy period in the days of the paddle steamers as they brought to shore many holiday makers. Mornington has a number of significant historical buildings and structures remaining from the early period of white settlement.
